Here's what our customers think

I needed a cost effective solution to launch my small business very quickly - I did not wish to commit to the cost of using an Internet service provider before seeing if my business was going to succeed.

I like the easy editing functions which are so simple, the order forms have been really helpful for my business too and come straight to my inbox.

Choosing Moogo was low risk.

Banners

The most common application for banners is to use them as advertisement space, placing the banner in a predetermined block on the site, usually on either the right-hand or the left-hand side of the page. Banners are often ads for sponsors, and clicking on the banner will take you to a sponsor's site. They may also feature ads for the site administrator, and clicking on the banner can take the visitor to a site introducing a product, for example.

Moogo's banners come in standard sizes, but their size and shape offer an almost endless choice of varieties. It is worth keeping in mind, however, that if a banner is too big, it can be both impractical and distracting from the main content of your page.

Adding a Banner

The banner image, location, and the URL address associated with the banner are set in Banner Maintenance.

Adding a Banner

Add a new banner by clicking on the "Banners" link on the "Site Management" tab on the top of the page.

The "Banner Management" page features a list of all the banners that have been added to the page. You can also see how many clicks each of the banners has received.

Add a new banner by clicking on the "New Banner" button.

Banner Visibility and Location

You can choose whether a banner is visible on the front page only, or that it's visible on the entire site. Additionally you can set the banner to visibile only on certain pages. Ergo, you can set the banner to visibile on a specific conten page, or content pages by placing those pages in specific folders. You can read more about content pages here.

You can choose to place a banner on either the left-hand or the right-hand side of the page. If you have the blog feature, you may place a banner below the blog entries.

You can freely change the order and location of the banners on the pages if you choose for the banner to be located on a content block. You will find more details on moving content blocks under the "Page Layout and Structure" instructions.

Banner Types

The banner can be a picture or a code with flash elements.

Picture Banner

Choose the picture to use as a banner by clicking on the "Picture Selection" button. The Moogo browser will open and you can upload a picture from your computer. The use of the file browser is described in more detail in "Text Editor and Picture Editing."

Code Banner

By clicking on the "Add HTML Code" button, a small text field appears in which the banner's HTML code can be entered.

Banner Links

In the Link field, enter the address where the viewer will be taken taken after clicking on the banner. You can select your own content page, an external website, a file, or your own content page.

1. Content page

Click on the "Choose a Content Page" button. The text field is replaced by a drop-down menu in which all the content pages on the site and all the features selected for the site are listed. Choose the content page and the direct address of the page will appear in the text field.

2. File

You can create a direct link from a banner to a file. For example, you can have a PDF open just by clicking the banner. By clicking on the "Choose a File" button, the Moogo file browser will open and you can choose a file from your computer. Choose the file you want to open by clicking on the green "Correct" sign on the file.

3. External link

A link to a page outside your own site is created by entering the www address of the page into the text field. Enter the address in the format http://www.address.com
