Here's what our customers think

I needed a cost effective solution to launch my small business very quickly - I did not wish to commit to the cost of using an Internet service provider before seeing if my business was going to succeed.

I like the easy editing functions which are so simple, the order forms have been really helpful for my business too and come straight to my inbox.

Choosing Moogo was low risk.

Content Pages

Content pages are pages where you can insert text, pictures, links or tables. The content pages can include, among other things, contact information, informative content, price lists or instructions, and it is possible to link the pages to the main menu of the site. Administrators for the Sports Team packages can add content and links only to the Link menu on the pages of their own team.

Content Pages
Creating a new content page.

Create a new content page by selecting the "New Content Page" link on the "Site Management" tab on the top of the page. Enter a name for the page. This name will also appear as the default title in the main menu and it can be changed at any time.

If you do not want the link to appear on the main menu, select "Do not add a link to the menu". This will hide the content of the page from visitors. It is possible to link the content page to the main menu at a later stage, or to create a link to the page in the text (see example 2).

After the content page has been completed, you can begin editing the content by moving the mouse on the default text and selecting the lightning icon in the upper left-hand corner.

» See example

A text editor will open up from the lightning icon, allowing you to edit text and add pictures, links and tables. For more information on using the text editor, read "Using the Text Editor and Editing the Pictures".

note.gifNote! Try to avoid pasting text directly from Word or other word-processing programs. These programs use extensive formatting and their use may interrupt the smooth operation of your site. You can paste text into the text editor using the "Word" function (the W icon in the Tool Box).

Example 1

New content page
A title is given to the new content page, and a new link is added to the main menu.

A company wishes to add the link "Discounts" to the main menu and a sublink "Fall 2008" to that link.

  1. Click on the "New Content Page" link on the "Site Management" tab.
  2. Enter the title of the new content page ("Discounts") and select "Add a link to the page on the main menu [New link]".
  3. Click on the "Create Page" button.

A link to the "Discounts" page has been added to the main menu, and you can start to edit the contents of the page by moving the mouse on the text and clicking on the lightning icon.

Creating a sublink
Creating a sublink.

Now the company wishes to make a sublink called "Fall 2008."

  1. Click on the "New Content Page" link on the "Site Management" tab.
  2. Give the new content page the title "Fall 2008."
  3. Select the "Add a link to the page on the main menu" option and the "[Discounts] link sublink" in the drop-down menu.
  4. Click on the "Create Page" button.
The "Fall 2008" sublink was added to the Discounts link, and the content can be edited immediately.

Example 2

The company has created a new content page entitled "Staff", but it has not been linked to the main menu. This was done by selecting the option "Do not link the page to the menu" when the new content page was created.

The page is not visible to visitors, unless it is linked to the website in some way. There are two ways to link.

In the text

It is possible to add links in the text that take the viewer to an external page (http://address.com) or to a content page you have created.

Enter the word or phrase you want to use as a link into the editor. Use the mouse to highlight the chosen word or phrase, and then select the link icon in the editor. A small window appears on-screen, and you can enter the address you want (in the format http://www.address.com) in the URL field.

Add link
The "Add a Link" window allows you to select a link to an external site (URL field), a file (Select a File) or a content page on your own website (Select a Page), as shown in this example.

If you want the link to go directly to an existing content page on your website, click on the "Select page" button. The text field is turned into a drop-down menu containing all the content pages on your site as well as the features selected for the site.

If you want to create a direct link to a file (e.g., a Word, Excel or PDF format file), click on the "Select a File" button. A file browser appears allowing you to select the file to which the link should point.

Finish by clicking on the OK button, and the link is added to the editor.

To the main menu

If you did not add the content page to the main menu when you created it, it is possible to link it at a later stage. Click on the lightning icon in the main menu which will transfer you to main menu management.

Main menu editing
Editing the main menu and adding a new link.

Now click on "New Link" on the left. An "Information on the link" window will appear on the right, and you can type in the title of the link ("Staff"). Click on the "From the List" button next to the "Link Object" field, and the text field turns into a drop-down menu. You can select the content page you want on the drop-down menu, in this case, the "Staff" page. Remember to save.

You can edit the order of the links with the "Move Up" and "Move Down" buttons.
