Here's what our customers think

I needed a cost effective solution to launch my small business very quickly - I did not wish to commit to the cost of using an Internet service provider before seeing if my business was going to succeed.

I like the easy editing functions which are so simple, the order forms have been really helpful for my business too and come straight to my inbox.

Choosing Moogo was low risk.

Main Menu Management

The Main Menu refers to the links located below the header photo or on the left-hand side of the site. The Main Menu allows you to access the different sub-pages on the site, as well as features such as the guest book or the online store.

When the mouse is moved over the Main Menu, you may also see drop-down menus, making more links appear under the Main Menu link. When organized effectively, the drop-down menus make it possible to fit a large number of links into a small area, without making the site difficult to navigate.

Main Menu Management

You can access Main Menu Management by moving the mouse over the Main Menu and clicking on the "lightning" icon that appears.

You will able to see a list of all the Main Menu links in the left-hand column. The drop-down menu links appear indented below each Main Menu link.

The link information appears on the right-hand side of the site by clicking on the link.

The "Link Text" field refers to the name of the link, visible on the Main Menu.

The "Link Object" field refers to the address where the viewer is directed after clicking on the link. The link object can be, among other things, a content page on your own site, an external link to another website, or a link to a file.

You can create a new link by clicking on "Create a new link" on the left-hand side of the site.

Linking to a content page

You can create a link to any content page on your website. To do this, click on the "From list" button next to the "Link object" field and choose the content page on the drop-down menu. Save your changes by using the "Save" button.

Linking to an external website

You can create a link from the Main Menu to another website. To do this, enter the address of the site (in the format www.address.com) in the "Link Object" field.

Linking to a file

You can create a link from the Main Menu to a file (e.g., a .pdf or .doc file). You can do this by clicking on the "From List" button and selecting the "Link to File" option. The File Browser will appear and you can select the intended file using the green "correct" sign on the file.

Modifying the order of the Main Menu links

You can also modify the order of the links in the Main Menu by clicking on the link you want to move and the "Move Up" or "Move Down" button.

The difference between a link and a content page on the Main Menu

Even though the links on the Main Menu point to content pages on your website, they are not the same thing. If you decide to delete the link on the Main Menu directing to the "Price List" content page, the "Price List" content page is not deleted. And if you delete the "Price List" content page, the Main Menu link is not automatically deleted but must be deleted separately.

If you create a new link from the Main Menu and insert an invalid address into the "Link Object" field, the link will not take you anywhere. New content pages are not created merely by creating a new link in the Main Menu. They have to be created with the "Content Page" tool.

You may automatically add a link to the Main Menu when you are creating a new content page.

note.gifNote! You cannot freely enter information into the "Link Object" field; for example, the name of the content page ("Price List"). The link must be in a format that Moogo can understand. You can find content pages directly by clicking on the "From List" button, which lists all the content pages on your website in a menu. The address to the content pages almost always comes in the form of numbers. Links to external websites must be entered in the standard format (i.e., http://www.address.com).
