Quick Instructions

After you have completed your Moogo website and saved it, you can start editing the content and appearance of your site.

Editing Content

A text editor will open from the lightning icon, allowing you to edit the text and add pictures, links and tables.

You can edit the text content (on your main page, for example) by moving the mouse over the text and clicking on the lightning icon that appears in the top left-hand corner. After you click on the icon, the page text content will appear in a text editor, where you can easily edit your content. You can use many of the functions you are already familiar with from word processing programs, such as bold, underline, and italics. After you have edited the text, simply save your changes by clicking on the "Save" button in the top left-hand corner. The changes are applied instantly and are visible online.

Using Moogo Features

All the features you have selected can be found on the "Site Management" tab.

When you are creating your site, you select the features to be included; for example, news or events. You can browse the features you have selected from Web Site Maintenance, using the "Site Management" tab on the bar at the top of the page.

The "Site Management" tab allows you to select the feature you want to use. For example, after choosing the news feature, you can add a news item by selecting the "New News Item" link.

You can add new content pages by using the "New Content Page" link. Enter the name of the content page and save it. A new content page will appear on your site and you can edit its contents. A link to the new content page will appear in the page's main menu unless you have chosen to hide it. You can find more details on content pages in the Instructions on Content Pages.

Editing Layout

Moogo comes with an easy-to-use layout editor, allowing you to make your website look exactly as you want.

You also have many options for editing the layout of your site. Choose the "Layout Editor" link on the "Site Management" tab. The layout editor will appear on the left-hand side of the site. You can use the settings to alter the appearance of your site. You will be able to view the modifications instantly in the Preview of Your Site, but they are saved only after you click on the "Save" button.
