Frequently Asked Questions about the Search Engine

Q: Does the Search Engine's search include, for example, the Events and Online Store features?

A: The Search Engine settings allow you to select the features you want to be included in the search.  This means that you can limit the search to specific features or search all of the site's contents.  You can also choose whether you want the search results grouped according to the features or all listed under the same list.

If you have the Online Store feature, you can search for products with the Online Store Search Engine even if you do not have the additional Search Engine feature.  The Online Store feature only finds results on the Online Store.

Q: Can the Search Engine also find content in the attachment files I have added to the site?

A: No.  The Search Engine searches are limited to the text content entered on the site.

Q: What is the difference between the Moogo Search Engine and online search engines like Google, for example?

A: Google and similar search engines search for content on the entire Internet, while the Moogo Search Engine only searches your site.

Q: How can I remove the Search Engine search field from above the header?

A: You can find Search Engine settings under the Site Management tab.  There, you can choose from the settings where the search field is displayed: in the header or on the site's side column.
