I needed a cost effective solution to launch my small business very quickly - I did not wish to commit to the cost of using an Internet service provider before seeing if my business was going to succeed.
I like the easy editing functions which are so simple, the order forms have been really helpful for my business too and come straight to my inbox.
Choosing Moogo was low risk.

Frequently Asked Questions about Content Pages and the Text EditorQ: Why does the text editor make an empty space line instead of a line break when I press Enter? A: For a line break, press the Shift key and while holding it down, press the Enter key.
Q: I tried to add a picture to my web site, but it sort of "dropped" to the bottom of the page. What's wrong? A: The most probable reason is that the image is too wide and therefore too large to fit into the content area. In this case, some Internet browsers position the picture at the bottom of the site on the screen. You should try to resize the picture into a smaller file by clicking on the name of the image in the File Browser and then selecting the "Edit File" link in the lower left-hand corner of the site. A 300-pixel-wide image is usually ideal for online use. If the picture is too wide and the text editor does not allow you to click on the "lightning" icon, you can enter the editor by pressing ALT+M.
Q: I tried to add a picture that I took with my digital camera to the text, but it turned out to be way too big. How can I make the picture smaller? A: When uploading the image to the File Browser, you can easily resize it to make it smaller. Click on the name of the image in the File Browser and it will open on the left-hand side. Click on the "Edit Picture" button. You can now set the desired size for your picture.
Q: How can I add a link to the text? A: You can highlight the word or words you want to be a link, and then click on the "Link" icon on the toolbar of the editor. Type the address (http://www...) in the link window, or choose the content page you want the link to point to from the menu. You can also make a link to a file.
Q: I changed my new address on the "Contact Information" page, but the changes did not appear in the "Contact Information" block. What's wrong? A: The Contact Information page and the Contact Information block are not the same thing, even though they do contain the same information after the site has been saved. If your contact information is changed, you must make the changes separately in both locations.
Q: How can I link an e-mail address? A: First, enter the e-mail address you want to link to in the text editor. Highlight it with the mouse and choose the link icon on the editor tool bar. A link window will appear, and you can type the e-mail address in the URL field in the format mailto:john@doe.com.
Q: How can I hide the "Contact Information" block from my front page? A: You can hide the block by using your web site Maintenance Mode. Move the mouse over the "Contact Information" block and click on the icon that reads "Edit Page Layout." In page layout editing, you can hide the Contact Information content block. You can also access the layout editing page under the Site Management tab. |
