Why You Should Use Testimonials On Your Website.

Wednesday 8/25/10 time 9:25 AM - Sjoerd @ Moogo

testimonial2.pngAlthough we all like to do it sometimes, blowing your own horn is not really a recommended thing to do when promoting your business. However, to quote the American comedian Will Rogers, "Get someone else to blow your horn and the sound will carry twice as far."

I'm talking of course about customer testimonials. There are very little things that improve the trust of a customer who doesn't know you than customer testimonials. They are an essential part of any business website. That's why we have a few at Moogo.com.

And the best thing is, is that they are so simple to obtain! (Unless of course you are running a terrible business:)). Just send a quick message to some of your customers who you know were happy with your product or work and aks them to write two or three sentences.

So, if you own a business website with Moogo, I would like to advise you to do this as soon as possible. You can just put them in a custom side block on your Moogo page and they will be visible on every page!

To get some more info, check out this great article at WebCredible, which will tell you everything you need to know about good customer testimonials!

And then learn 4 ways at Cheryl Heppard's blog to use them even more effectively!

Good luck!
