New feature: Sharing Widgets!

We have talked a lot about social media on this blog: How to make your website more social, how to start your blog, how to market your blog etc. All the time we have been stressing how important and useful this could potentially be for your website. Now we have added a new feature that will help you make your website more social in seconds: sharing widgets!

What are sharing widgets?
If you have read any article on our blog before, you have seen them. It's those colourful little buttons on the bottom of every article on our blog:

It allows your readers to easily share your blog/websites with their friends. With one click they can share it on Facebook, MySpace, Digg and loads of other services. Or simply e-mail it to their friends.

It is a great and easy way to get more visitors to your site: you just let other people do the work! And once your blog post, webpage, picture is out there in the sharing world, who knows what can happen? It can even go "viral"!

So how do I get these widgets to my site?
As always with Moogo, it is very simple. After you have logged into your website:

1. Go to Settings > Sharing Widgets. You will see this screen:

2. If you just want to activate the sharing widget, choose where you want it to appear on your site ("blog", "photo album" and/or "news") and click "Save Changes". DONE! Your visitors can now share content from your website!

(3. We have prefilled the field with the widget from AddThis, just because we use this one ourselves and it works great with the Moogo platform. It is also possible to implement a different sharing widget like ShareThis. Or you can go to AddThis yourself and create a profiel there to get your own personal widget. This will allow you to keep track of the sharing.)
