You could for example buy ad space on websites that might be visited by potential customers, but it was always hard and time consuming to check how many people came through which channel, and whether they really were potential customers to begin with. If you find yourself in this situation, Google offers the perfect solution: Google Adwords.

SEO: The First Step

Tuesday 11/24/09 - Heikki@Moogo

Moogo, SEO, The Code, Tips, Alt Img TagIn the previous SEO related post we took a look at how search engines work. Now that we know how they function, we can start to focus on SEO more precisely. First and foremost, it's important to make a distinction between the two main types of SEO: white-hat and black-hat. White-hat SEO is about making your site as search engine friendly as possible, creating valuable content with relevant keywords, and building links in an honest fashion. Thursday 11/19/09 - Heikki @Moogo

Search Engine Optimization, SEO, GoogleSearch Engine Optimization has been and continues to be a frequently discussed issue over the Web. The fact that it's an oft-discussed topic doesn't necessarily mean that it's presented in an understandable manner. Since the basic principle behind this blog is to cut through all of the technical clutter, this post is exactly that: SEO explained in layman's terms.
